Connect to a Sense of Belonging

While I love working one-on-one with people, sometimes the art of rest necessitates cultivating a stronger sense of belonging.

I have a deep passion for gathering communities around topics that stretch our comfort zones, inspire our creativity, and allow us to connect deeply with others. As a facilitator, I find the most potent wisdom doesn’t come from me, but rather comes from the people who show up. I’m often just there to gently rudder the ship.

The workshops below are my recurring and planned opportunities for community connection. Sign up for The Art of Rest mailing list to be the first to know when new opportunities arrive!

Join us on the Main Salmon with Hughes River Expeditions for a beautiful week to connect, restore, and sink into a conscious relationship with yourself and nature. The experienced guides at Hughes will be providing opportunities for contemplative nature-based walks, facilitated mindfulness practices, lightly guided movements, and sharing collective experiences in community.

Restful sleep is a supportive function of creativity and living an authentic life. This workshop is designed to help you realign with sleep health for overall self-care, wellness, emotional processing, and dreaming.

In this workshop, as a community we will explore myth and folklore relating to the wild-woman archetype using art, movement, and storytelling.

In addition to recurring  workshops, The Art of Rest is abig believer in trying new things. Each year we explore working with other facilitators, running one-off trial rounds of new material, and widening and deepening our work with new flavors.

If you’re wondering what this season holds, come explore what’s growing in the garden with me.

“I love that this workshop has continued to unfold for me in the months since we all met up. It was such a wealth of information in such a short amount of time; it’s been a delight to see different aspects of the course speak to me in new ways as I continue this on-going, ever-changing relationship with sleep and dreams every night.”

The Art of Rest splits our time seasonally but is lovingly operated on historical lands of present day Shoshone-Bannock & Nez Perce in the summers and traditional lands of the Salish, Kootenai, and Kalispel peoples, in the winter.
