Gathering the
Bones

The iconic book Women Who Run with the Wolves by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés is a collection of curated stories from around the world, all exploring the wild woman archetype. The wisdom of these stories meet us boldly in every season of our lives.

This extended group experience is a deep dive where—together—we will move through all 16 chapters of Women Who Run with the Wolves as a small community.

In this workshop, we explore myth and folklore relating to the wild-woman archetype using art, movement, and storytelling.

Although reading the book is not necessary to participateeach week we discuss major stories from each chapter, engage in art or movement practices intended to deepen our connections to the themes, and learn from each other about how the archetypes from each story show up in our own lives.

While this space primarily centers around the lives and stories of women, all who are genuinely interested in learning about, and exploring the inner feminine and wild woman archetype are welcome. If you've got questions or curiosities about the inclusivity of this container, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Structure & Format...

Exploring the Wild Woman Archetype is a 16-week community, experiential series to dive deeply into the tales within Women Who Run with the Wolves. This workshop is held in person** each Sunday from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM at the Monroe Street Studio in Missoula, Montana, starting January 4, 2026.

The studio space will be open 20 minutes before we start. Arriving 10- 15 minutes early is optional, but encouraged so we can start promptly at 4:30 PM to respect everyone's time. From 4:10 until the time we start together as a group, reflective journaling and art processing prompts for that evening's session will be set out, & tea and light snacks will be available so folks can drop into themselves, drop into the material, and explore individual inquires before we start as a group.

This is also a great opportunity to build new community and connect with others outside of the official container.

This Is A "Come When You Can"
&
A "Come As You Are" Container

Come When You Can

Although the folks who only miss one or two nights of the series seem to get the most out of this depth journey, this container is specifically created to catch you in your busy life.

If you only come to one session***, or you come to all 16 sessions—you are welcome here.

If this work calls to you, please let it be imperfect, come when you can.

Come As You Are

Additionally, this space is also curated to allow folks to participate as much or as little as they desire. The magic of these particular stories in Women Who Run with the Wolves, is that they value wholeness, not just showing up when we're at our 'best.'

Everything I offer in this series is optional, and sharing is never expected. Further, attending while experiencing stormy moods, or stuck in your grungiest, weekend pajamas is encouraged. Especially in the throws of a long, dark winter—I expect that there will be nights where you show up as a more feral wolf, rather than a perfectly groomed one.

Again, please let it be imperfect.

If this work calls to you, come exactly as you are.

**I am excited to announce there will also be a virtual container this winter running in tandem. The virtual container opens up the opportunity for a hybrid option to anyone who pays for the full series in advanced.  In this case, the in-person version will be held at the same time and place each week for an hour and a half, while the virtual-version will be held virtually over Zoom in the comfort of your own home Sunday evenings from 7 - 8:30 PM MST. All sessions will be recorded and sent out to virtual participants, or those who paid for the series in full each week.

***The only exception to the "Come When You Can" value is that the final 3 sessions of the series will be closed to newcomers. Only folks who have attended one or more sessions will be allowed to attend the final part of the series.

A Series You Don't Want To Miss

Nightly Components

  • Myth, Folklore, & Storytelling — We will focus on the main tale from one chapter per week and read the story together as a group, or experience it as a live-storytelling.

  • Unraveling Symbolism & Motif — After each story, we will thoroughly unpack and understand major symbols, motifs, and themes present in each tale.

  • Art or Movement Practice — Each story will be paired with a carefully curated art or movement exploration to more deeply experience specific elements of the feminine rites of passages in each chapter.

  • Reflection & Journaling — At the end of each session, the facilitator will leave participants with several journaling prompts and reflection questions to continue deciphering their own unique wisdoms.

  • Community Container — In addition to weaving community into each of these previous components, there will also be an opportunity each session to share, discuss and witness what has been coming up for everyone during their journey into the wild woman archetype.

Dagny is a skillful, thoughtful, compassionate and graceful facilitator. She is a powerhouse of knowledge and practice, but her true gift is showing up authentically...which creates a container of true safety and curiosity. Her presence and structure invite deep sharing, authentic connection and expression, and the possibility for new and imaginative wisdom to arise.

Although this is a "Come When You Can" and a "Come As You Are" space, those who sign up for the full series get some extra perks. You're not required to use any of these extra bonuses, but they're here to explore if you're feeling called to go even deeper.

  • 1:1 Dreamwork Session — 1-hour complimentary dreamwork session & 50% off all subsequent dreamwork sessions while the container is still open (discount ends in May).

  • Personalized Dream, Images, & Symbology "Office Hours"— Once a month, I'll have open "office hours" where people can sign up for a 30 minute slot. During this time you'll have an opportunity to meet with me over coffee or tea (virtually or in-person) to explore the constellation of dreams, symbols, and images that this work has stirred up in you. Together we'll nerd out on what uniquely calls to you in these stories. If desired, I can help point you in the direction of extra resources that might bolster to your journey through this work.

  • Hybrid Model & Session Recordings— The hybrid model helps those who might want to take the course but are traveling frequently, live slightly outside of Missoula, or are not local to the region and still want to engage in the series. The hybrid option for the course allows for floating between virtual and in-person events, as well as access to the video recordings of each session for up to a year.

  • A Hand-made Thank You Card — As a small-business owner, when you pay for the series in full, it helps give my work stability and reliability, and allows me to work with folks from different financial backgrounds. At the end of our time together you'll get a personalized 'thank you' for supporting my work.
